What is a CDG?
A CD+G or CDG stands for compact disc plus graphics.
This is the standard format for most English Karaoke discs. These discs can either be played on a karaoke machine that supports CDG or on a regular DVD or CD player. When played on a regular DVD or CD player, the audio will only be heard. No lyrics will appear on-screen unless you are using a CDG compatible karaoke player.
